I have come to find that a lot is going on right now and a lot of things are changing. My "boss" at work, Heather, is leaving us today. Although I've had more than 2 weeks to prepare for this, I don't really even feel close to ready for it. I'm not ready to take on the responsibilities of taking minutes down from the GCEC meetings and sending out lecture emails to our mailing lists. I'm not ready to coordinate/keep track of this new faculty search, and I'm DEFINITELY not ready to handle these...what? 5 websites?!
But on another note, this change is good for her and I am happy...for her. Not necessarily as happy for me ;) It's going to be a little lonely in our office for a while, but that's okay, I can trudge through it. And I hope to welcome in a "replacement" very soon.

I am getting even more nervous but even more excited about getting married in JUNE!! Yes, I know it is still 126 days away, but that will be here before we know it! And there's still do much to do!!
Well, it's Friday and I just thought I would give a short update on what's been going on. I have a new obsession with a blog... that I discovered by stalking my other blog obsession. I know, it's a problem. I am trying to overcome it. Kind of.
